Marin Bikes debuted the newest evolution of the Quad XC line at Interbike
2006 and began delivering bikes to our dealer network in January
2007. In the May issue of Mountain Bike Action, the wrecking
crew shares their experiences. According to MBA, “nothing
gives the feel of floating over bumps like a great dual-link
bike like the Marin!”

As you read through the review, you'll find MBA's 'wrecking
crew' was ecstatic about their time on the bike. Starting with
the "awesomely hydroformed tube set," you notice how we used
hydroforming extensively creating the triple-butted front
triangle and the double-butted swingarm. The bike has great
organic curves, yet we were able to address design goals such
as fitting a water bottle inside the main triangle, massive
mud clearance, and excellent standover height. We aimed to
create a frame that would attract customers to your shop and
then give them the fit and finish they desired.
